Ever look around and think, "How did I get here? Wow, I am so incredibly blessed."?
On my social media "trip down memory lane" for this day, December 31, I was reminded of my journey of the past seven years.
You see, on this day, I would usually post about some party or experience I was having. It wasn't until about four years ago that I really committed to a more "reflective" post.
And, even though some years were more challenging than others, the common thread in each of these post was the word "gratitude".
This year is no different. This year has not only been one of my most challenging years but also my most "kick-ass" year. I say challenging because, I started a coaching & consulting business. If your a business owner, you know what I'm talking about. Even if you are not a business owner, but you have taken on a leadership role, (like ever) you know what I'm talking about, as well!
And, if you are reading this...you had a VERY significant role in the "kick-ass" part 2015. And for that, I am blessed!
We laughed, we cried, but more importantly...we celebrated wins. There were parties, committees, collaboration meetings, events, graduations, weddings...lots of room for celebrations!
Even my most challenging moments, I had friends, family and a team of people to lean on for support. What a blessing!
So, before this gets all sappy...I wanted to share with you some of my favorite moments in 2015. These are in no particular order:
Moment One: I welcomed over 900 “Power Moms” to a community to help them get the tools they need to rock their world!
Moment Two: Being featured in my first Huffington Post article (Thank you, Leigh Clark) and these publications:
I was also honored with being awarded one of The News-Press Media Group's Young Professional Advisory Board members.
Moment Three: Going to the "Windy City" with my favorite peeps. This was taken on the "Sky Walk" at Willis Tower.
Moment Five: Starting the “Biz Chat Fridays”, a bi-weekly call for CEO Moms. I even got to host one from Beverly Hills...super fun!
Moment Six: Launching the podcast series, “Proclamation of Persistence: The Busy Professionals’ Guide to Triumph & Success” AND interviewing over 40 guest
Moment Seven: Meeting Florida's Governor, Rick Scott and First Lady, Ann Scott at the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizens' Award Ceremony
Moment Eight: Watch my oldest "gift daughter", Lauren graduate from high school! I am so incredibly proud of her and I cannot wait to see what 2016 has in store for her. Her dad and I take her to college soon. Go Seminoles!
Moment Nine: Launching "transformational' coaching programs like: the Royalty Mastermind, Back on Track, and the VIP Game Day Intensive and adding four rockstar ninjas to the Queen of Results team to make everything run smoothly!
Moment Ten: Running my first half marathon...okay, I relayed it. But, still! It was quite an accomplishment! Here's me crossing the finish line only half...what a pretty view!
Moment Eleven: Making the trip out West five times with my favorite person. We did the whole Southern California tour and made it out to Vegas for a week.
Moment Twelve: Welcoming this handsome guy into our family. Auggie has been such a joy to our world. He's a monster...but we love him!
