How to address your biggest fears

Missing deadlines. Constantly putting off tasks. Always distracted.

The other day, I was listening to an Audible book, “The 10X Rule” by Grant Cardone. He had this whole chapter dedicated to “eating our fears”. 

Let me explain.

He compared fear to a flame. I’m para-phrasing when I reference Grant but he says something along the lines of… time is the oxygen that fuels the flames of fear.

In other words, when we delay (or procrastinate), the fear of the unknown continues to fester inside us.

The only way to snuff out the flame of fear is through MASSIVE action.

Massive action means we address our biggest fears, head on. Maybe it’s:

Addressing a challenging client
Making sales calls
Recording your first “Live Stream” social media video
Speaking about your business in front of a room full of people

You know, I used to be scared of doing everything I just mention above but, you know how I built up my confidence in these areas? I freaking followed through.

Not just once, but over and over again.

Today, I dare you to “eat your fear”. I challenge you to address the one thing that scares you the most and then do two action steps that are going to move you closer to conquering your fear. 

Clearly, this goal is pretty important to you or you wouldn't feel the need to procrastinate on it :)

Today’s a day for massive action!
