047: Proclamation of Persistence: The Busy Professionals' Guide to Triumph & Success

Heather Ann Havenwood, CEO of Havenwood Worldwide, LLC and Chief Sexy Boss, is a serial entrepreneur and is regarded as a top authority on internet marketing, business strategies and marketing.

In 2006 she started, developed and grew an online information marketing publishing company from ground zero to over $1 million in sales in less than 12 months.

Heather Ann has been named by a few as an ‘Icon Creator’ or the ‘Wizard Behind the Curtain’. She has instructed, coached and promoted hundreds of entrepreneurs leading them down the path to success. She has produced and managed over 350 seminars and events and hosted tele-seminars with many top online thought leaders.

Heather Ann currently is the Author of "Sexy Boss: How the empowerment of women is changing the Rule Book for sex, money and success” and “The Game of Dating and How to Play it: A rule book for divorced men stepping back into the game”

Heather Ann Havenwood is smart, sexy, savvy and now stepping out from behind the curtain to educate, enlighten and empower women entrepreneurs to grow or start an online business and live a fearless and fulfilled life.

Heather says she use to handle business in a very competitive and hard-hitting way, which wasn’t in flow with who she is.

“Be a boss of your life; a boss of our higher spirit. Be a boss for being responsible for all areas of our life.”

A friend of Heather’s told her she was a “Sexy Boss” and she looked into trademarking it, as well as writing a book.

“The book was 100% for me, of just kind of coming out with my story”

Heather was hoping her story could help her at least one person step into his or her own power.

After a previous business closure, Heather says she went into victim mode for two years. She eventually realized she created the situation and took responsibility. One of her coaches pointed out that she was also responsible for creating the business success, not just failure. As well, she realized that if she could achieve success once, she could do it again.

“One you start being responsible for your life, things come full circle and the universe will test you”

Heather’s advice on forgiving is to first forgive those people who have harmed you, for everything in the past, present and future, and then forgive yourself.

“If you don’t forgive yourself, than really how can you forgive other people?”

Heather’s moment for knowing that she would find success came when she left Marco Island, Florida, and drove to live in Austin, Texas.

“I didn’t really have a plan, I had a decision that I was going to do this. I’m going to make this happen.”

She also shares that we are not “trees”, and we can move from one situation into a better one for ourselves.

Heather reminds listeners to be very selective, like she is, in whom they listen to for advice. Mentors don’t have to be someone that’s still alive; Heather turns to Jim Rohn for advice.

Sometimes the worst place you can be in is in your own head, with your thoughts, but she says to listen to your “higher self.”

A true coach is someone who is 100% a fan of you getting the results you say you want, not the results they think you need.

Heather’s father is a coach, and she’s had a coach herself since the age of 26.

Her boyfriend is a chiropractor, and she’s helping him leverage his information so he’s not just giving time for money. Together, they created a product and supplement line (see “INTERVIEW LINKS”). She says that any business can leverage their information to increase their revenue and ROI.

Entrepreneurship is challenging, as there are a lot of moving parts.

“You have to be willing to constantly be in a problem-solving mindset; you can have passion and do great things, but there are going to be challenges.”

For moving forward with goals, she asks herself one question when evaluating opportunities:

“Does this feed my confusion or strengthen my clarity?”
